Acelera is moving to sustainable production
Sustainability is a hot topic, and that certainly applies to the cycling world too. As passionate cyclists, we know better than anyone how important it is to invest in good cycling clothing. But we also want to make a positive impact on our planet. That’s why we’re very excited to share that our Dutch brand Acelera now offers sustainable cycling apparel, made from recycled PET bottles.
The new collections from Acelera include jerseys, shorts, jackets and gloves, all made from recycled polyester. The material is not only sustainable, but also breathable and durable, making it perfect for cyclists looking for comfortable, high-quality apparel. It’s great to see companies taking responsibility and looking for ways to make their production process more sustainable.
At Acelera, we’re committed to continuing our efforts for the world of tomorrow. In the future, we want to make our production process fully circular by recycling old polyester clothing. This is an important step in the right direction!

Not only is our sustainable cycling apparel better for the environment, it’s also premium quality. Because the material is stronger than regular polyester, the apparel lasts longer, and that’s good news for us as cyclists. We get to enjoy our favourite pieces for longer, which means we don’t need to replace our kit as often.
As passionate cyclists, we believe sustainability and cycling go hand in hand. We enjoy the beautiful nature around us, and we want to make sure our sport can continue to be enjoyed sustainably in the future too. That’s why we’re pleased to share that at Acelera, we can combine our passion for cycling with our commitment to sustainability!
Do you want to make a positive impact on our planet too, while enjoying premium-quality cycling apparel at the same time? Discover the sustainable collections from Acelera.
