Acelera will produce sustainably
Sustainability is a hot topic and that certainly also applies to the cycling world. As passionate cyclists, we know better than anyone how important it is to invest in good cycling clothing. But we also want to make a positive impact on our planet. That's why we are very excited to share that our Dutch brand Acelera now offers sustainable cycling clothing made from recycled PET bottles.
Acelera's new collections consist of shirts, shorts, jackets and gloves, all made from recycled polyester. The material is not only durable, but also breathable and strong, making it perfect for cyclists looking for comfortable and high-quality clothing. It is great to see that there are companies that take responsibility and look for ways to make their production process more sustainable.
At Acelera, we are determined to continue our commitment to the world of tomorrow. For example, we want to make our production process completely circular in the future by recycling old polyester clothing. This is an important step in the right direction!

Not only is our sustainable cycling clothing better for the environment, it is also of high quality. Because the material is stronger than regular polyester, the clothing lasts longer and that is good news for us as cyclists. We can enjoy our favorite items of clothing for longer and therefore have to purchase new clothing less often.
As passionate cyclists, we believe that sustainability and cycling go hand in hand. We enjoy the beautiful nature around us and we want to ensure that our sport can also be practiced in a sustainable way in the future. That's why we are pleased to announce that at Acelera we can combine our passion for cycling with a commitment to sustainability!
